An Afghanistan-born man named Najibullah Zazi has been charged for plotting to
bomb one or more unknown targets.
The U.S. government said that over the last three months Zazi and unnamed associates bought "unusually large quantities" of hydrogen peroxide and acetone products from beauty supply stores in the Denver area that could be used to make triacetone triperoxide, the explosive used in the 2005 London transit bombings that killed 56 and wounded 700.
Although the U.S. isn't always right about its suspicious, it is possible to catch a serious terrorist attack in progress. However, this case has not been settled, so Americans will have to wait and see if this man is guilty of endangering their lives.
