"Coke Didn't Make America Fat"

The recently suggested "fat tax" is planned as a tax on fatty foods to decrease the number of obese people in America. However the company Coca Cola points out that Americans that eat junk and become obese is not directly linked to eating junk food. It is obvious that a lot of people who are obese do not exercise a lot, so it's really only their fault. In addition, the tax really is not fair to those who eat the unhealthy food in moderation. Still, this fat tax is basically targeting sugary soft drinks; this industry has been led by Coca-Cola for many years, so the company gets hit with a lot of the criticism. But, it is not all the soda companies' fault that people become overweight because...

the percent of calories from added fats and flour/cereal products has increased 35% and 13%.

What America needs to do is spend some money to educate the youth about eating right and exercising before they hurl themselves into a fat whirlpool.
