Over Dramatizing of So-Called Racist Police Officers

The police force in New York have been characterized as racist for questioning people on the streets, most of them innocent and most of them of a minority race. Although racism is becoming taboo, all races have people that are racist against each other. But, the police do not have any reason to question, or interrogate as some say, people just minding their own business , walking along the sidewalk. Or do they?

Police records indicate that officers are drawn to suspicious behavior: furtive movements, actions that indicate someone may be serving as a lookout, anything that suggests a drug deal, or a person carrying burglary tools such as a slim jim or pry bar.

It seems that police have reason to be suspicious of these New Yorkers, even though most of the questioned citizens are of a minority race. Many people would jump to the conclusion of calling the New York police officers racists, but they are just trying to do their job. Better be safer than sorrier.
