Well, It Was Fun While It Lasted

The cash for clunkers program was a great hit! However, Emma Jackson, a reporter in Chicago, says,

U.S. auto sales in September, reported Wednesday, fell sharply, largely due to the end of the clunkers program.


This shows us that the saying "don't fix it if it isn't broken," is completely true. Why end a program that works so well to better the U.S.'s economy? The government should reinstate the cash for clunkers program and introduce more programs that can benefit the American people by providing jobs or giving money to families in need. It worked for FDR, didn't it?
