Today Christians in the Southern Part of Egypt have
butted heads with the police. An attack that killed six Christians has created hateful feelings between Christians and Muslims in some parts of Egypt. The attack was said to have been motivated by a past event. An unnamed Christian man has been accused of raping a Muslim girl and this, of course, caused several Muslims to have attacked the six Christians.
Unfortunately tension has increased between the two groups in Egypt. And I hope that the Christians and Muslims in Egypt can learn to get along because the country is becoming divided in a sense that many are losing their Egyptian identity.
