A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway will put on an Environmental Education Fair on May 1st. It is predicted that 500 people, including families and children, will attend the seven and a half hour event. This new experience will pertain to the conservation of coastal areas, especially the coasts of Florida. Sallie O’Hara, a Byway Administrator assures that,This is an opportunity for anyone who cares about the coastal environment to come together and learn about the many unique resources, from nature, scenic conservation and recreation to the historical, cultural and archaeological aspects.
This function is a great way to get in touch with the community and inform them of environmental issues and ways to conserve what the Earth has given humans.
